On the source side, Verify the asset representation and contract on the selected Avalanche network. On the destination side, Verify Starknet-specific asset and account details.
Compare Avalanche transaction costs with route and destination costs before consolidating small balances. On Starknet, Check the current network cost and route mechanics before moving small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Avalanche.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Confirm the network and contract before interacting with unfamiliar assets. At the destination, Do not assume EVM contract and wallet conventions apply directly.
