On the source side, Verify the token contract on Base and do not rely on ticker or logo alone. On the destination side, Verify the token contract on Blast.
Consider Base transaction costs together with bridge and route costs when moving small balances. On Blast, Compare network and route costs before moving low-value assets.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Base.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Use trusted interfaces and verify destination network and token before signing. At the destination, Use trusted interfaces and review contract interactions carefully.
