Cronos: Cronos provides an EVM-compatible environment with its own balances and token representations.
On the source side, Verify the token contract on Base and do not rely on ticker or logo alone. On the destination side, Verify the Cronos token contract rather than relying on ticker alone.

Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Base.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Use trusted interfaces and verify destination network and token before signing. At the destination, Confirm network, contract and destination before signing.
