On the source side, Verify the token contract on Metis. On the destination side, Verify the token contract on the selected Fantom network.
Compare L2 gas with bridge and liquidity costs. On Fantom, Compare network costs with route and liquidity costs.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Metis.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Confirm network and transaction details before signing. At the destination, Check the network and contract before interacting with unfamiliar assets.
