On the source side, Verify the token contract on Metis. On the destination side, Verify Starknet-specific asset and account details.
Compare L2 gas with bridge and liquidity costs. On Starknet, Check the current network cost and route mechanics before moving small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Metis.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Confirm network and transaction details before signing. At the destination, Do not assume EVM contract and wallet conventions apply directly.
