How to Find Forgotten Crypto in an Old Wallet
A checklist for finding forgotten crypto balances across networks and old wallet activity.
Search Every Network You Used
Forgotten balances are often hidden on networks that are no longer selected in a wallet interface. Review historical activity and check each relevant network before assuming an asset is gone.
What to Check
- Confirm the wallet address and network.
- Verify the exact token contract instead of relying on ticker or logo.
- Compare the balance with gas, swap, bridge and liquidity costs.
- Do not sign transactions you do not understand.
- Never share a seed phrase or private key with a scanner or cleanup tool.
