Arbitrum → Avalanche
Network-specific checks before a cross-chain transaction.
Arbitrum and Avalanche have separate network contexts. A cross-chain route must account for the source environment, destination environment and the mechanism used to transfer or represent the asset.
Route Intelligence
Arbitrum: Arbitrum is an Ethereum Layer 2 environment with its own balances and application ecosystem.
Avalanche: Avalanche supports an EVM-compatible environment alongside its broader network ecosystem.
On the source side, Confirm the Arbitrum token contract rather than assuming an identical ticker represents the same asset everywhere. On the destination side, Verify the asset representation and contract on the selected Avalanche network.
Compare L2 transaction costs with any bridge or liquidity costs required to reach the destination. On Avalanche, Compare Avalanche transaction costs with route and destination costs before consolidating small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Arbitrum.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Verify the network, contract and destination before signing cross-chain transactions. At the destination, Confirm the network and contract before interacting with unfamiliar assets.
Use the Live Bridge Tool
When a live route is available, open Dust Sweeper and review the current quote immediately before signing. Route availability, liquidity and network conditions can change.
