Arbitrum → BNB Smart Chain
Network-specific checks before a cross-chain transaction.
Arbitrum and BNB Smart Chain have separate network contexts. A cross-chain route must account for the source environment, destination environment and the mechanism used to transfer or represent the asset.
Route Intelligence
Arbitrum: Arbitrum is an Ethereum Layer 2 environment with its own balances and application ecosystem.
BNB Smart Chain: BNB Smart Chain is an EVM-compatible network with its own BEP-20 token representations.
On the source side, Confirm the Arbitrum token contract rather than assuming an identical ticker represents the same asset everywhere. On the destination side, Verify BEP-20 contracts and distinguish legitimate assets from unsolicited tokens.
Compare L2 transaction costs with any bridge or liquidity costs required to reach the destination. On BNB Smart Chain, Network transaction costs are only one part of the route; compare the complete cost before moving small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Arbitrum.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Verify the network, contract and destination before signing cross-chain transactions. At the destination, Treat unexpected tokens and unfamiliar approvals cautiously and verify contracts before interacting.
Use the Live Bridge Tool
When a live route is available, open Dust Sweeper and review the current quote immediately before signing. Route availability, liquidity and network conditions can change.
