BNB Smart ChainSui

Network-specific checks before a cross-chain transaction.

BNB Smart Chain and Sui have separate network contexts. A cross-chain route must account for the source environment, destination environment and the mechanism used to transfer or represent the asset.

Route Intelligence

Source network

BNB Smart Chain: BNB Smart Chain is an EVM-compatible network with its own BEP-20 token representations.

Destination network

Sui: Sui uses an object-centric model that differs from the account and token conventions of EVM networks.

Asset considerations

On the source side, Verify BEP-20 contracts and distinguish legitimate assets from unsolicited tokens. On the destination side, Verify the network-specific asset and object details rather than applying EVM assumptions.

Fee considerations

Network transaction costs are only one part of the route; compare the complete cost before moving small balances. On Sui, Consider network transaction costs and route-specific costs when evaluating small balances.

Before You Bridge

  • Source: confirm the asset is actually held on BNB Smart Chain.
  • Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
  • Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
  • Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
  • Security: Treat unexpected tokens and unfamiliar approvals cautiously and verify contracts before interacting. At the destination, Review transaction effects carefully and use trusted wallet interfaces.
Never use a seed phrase or private key to complete a bridge. A legitimate bridge flow should not require either.

Use the Live Bridge Tool

When a live route is available, open Dust Sweeper and review the current quote immediately before signing. Route availability, liquidity and network conditions can change.
