Aptos: Aptos uses the Move ecosystem and has asset conventions that differ from EVM networks.
On the source side, Verify the supported asset representation for the route you are using. On the destination side, Verify the network-specific asset representation and account details.
Check the exact network and route mechanics before estimating transfer costs. On Aptos, Compare network costs with any route or destination costs before moving small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Celestia.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Do not assume EVM wallet behavior or contract conventions apply directly. At the destination, Confirm the destination and transaction effects before signing.
