FantomArbitrum

Network-specific checks before a cross-chain transaction.

Fantom and Arbitrum have separate network contexts. A cross-chain route must account for the source environment, destination environment and the mechanism used to transfer or represent the asset.

Route Intelligence

Source network

Fantom: Fantom provides an EVM-compatible environment with its own balances and token contracts.

Destination network

Arbitrum: Arbitrum is an Ethereum Layer 2 environment with its own balances and application ecosystem.

Asset considerations

On the source side, Verify the token contract on the selected Fantom network. On the destination side, Confirm the Arbitrum token contract rather than assuming an identical ticker represents the same asset everywhere.

Fee considerations

Compare network costs with route and liquidity costs. On Arbitrum, Compare L2 transaction costs with any bridge or liquidity costs required to reach the destination.

Before You Bridge

  • Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Fantom.
  • Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
  • Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
  • Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
  • Security: Check the network and contract before interacting with unfamiliar assets. At the destination, Verify the network, contract and destination before signing cross-chain transactions.
Never use a seed phrase or private key to complete a bridge. A legitimate bridge flow should not require either.

Use the Live Bridge Tool

When a live route is available, open Dust Sweeper and review the current quote immediately before signing. Route availability, liquidity and network conditions can change.
