Optimism: Optimism is an Ethereum Layer 2 environment with its own transaction and asset context.
On the source side, Verify the token contract on Gnosis. On the destination side, Verify the Optimism contract address for the asset you intend to move.
Compare transaction costs with bridge and destination costs. On Optimism, Compare network gas with bridge and route costs, especially for low-value balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Gnosis.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
