Arbitrum: Arbitrum is an Ethereum Layer 2 environment with its own balances and application ecosystem.
On the source side, Verify the token contract and network-specific representation. On the destination side, Confirm the Arbitrum token contract rather than assuming an identical ticker represents the same asset everywhere.
Compare network gas with route and destination costs. On Arbitrum, Compare L2 transaction costs with any bridge or liquidity costs required to reach the destination.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Manta.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Use trusted interfaces and verify the destination before signing. At the destination, Verify the network, contract and destination before signing cross-chain transactions.
