On the source side, Verify the token contract and network-specific representation. On the destination side, Verify the token contract on Base and do not rely on ticker or logo alone.
Compare network gas with route and destination costs. On Base, Consider Base transaction costs together with bridge and route costs when moving small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Manta.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
