Aptos: Aptos uses the Move ecosystem and has asset conventions that differ from EVM networks.
On the source side, Verify the token contract on Metis. On the destination side, Verify the network-specific asset representation and account details.
Compare L2 gas with bridge and liquidity costs. On Aptos, Compare network costs with any route or destination costs before moving small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Metis.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Confirm network and transaction details before signing. At the destination, Confirm the destination and transaction effects before signing.
