Starknet → Base
Network-specific checks before a cross-chain transaction.
Starknet and Base have separate network contexts. A cross-chain route must account for the source environment, destination environment and the mechanism used to transfer or represent the asset.
Route Intelligence
Starknet: Starknet uses its own account and smart-contract environment, which differs from standard EVM networks.
Base: Base is an Ethereum Layer 2 environment with its own network balances, applications and token representations.
On the source side, Verify Starknet-specific asset and account details. On the destination side, Verify the token contract on Base and do not rely on ticker or logo alone.
Check the current network cost and route mechanics before moving small balances. On Base, Consider Base transaction costs together with bridge and route costs when moving small balances.
Before You Bridge
- Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Starknet.
- Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
- Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
- Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
- Security: Do not assume EVM contract and wallet conventions apply directly. At the destination, Use trusted interfaces and verify destination network and token before signing.
Use the Live Bridge Tool
When a live route is available, open Dust Sweeper and review the current quote immediately before signing. Route availability, liquidity and network conditions can change.
