ScrollBNB Smart Chain

Network-specific checks before a cross-chain transaction.

Scroll and BNB Smart Chain have separate network contexts. A cross-chain route must account for the source environment, destination environment and the mechanism used to transfer or represent the asset.

Route Intelligence

Source network

Scroll: Scroll is an Ethereum Layer 2 environment with its own transaction and asset context.

Destination network

BNB Smart Chain: BNB Smart Chain is an EVM-compatible network with its own BEP-20 token representations.

Asset considerations

On the source side, Verify the exact token contract on Scroll. On the destination side, Verify BEP-20 contracts and distinguish legitimate assets from unsolicited tokens.

Fee considerations

Compare Scroll gas with bridge, liquidity and destination costs. On BNB Smart Chain, Network transaction costs are only one part of the route; compare the complete cost before moving small balances.

Before You Bridge

  • Source: confirm the asset is actually held on Scroll.
  • Destination: confirm the wallet and destination network.
  • Token: verify the exact asset representation rather than relying on ticker or logo.
  • Costs: compare gas, bridge fees, liquidity, price impact and the final received amount.
  • Security: Confirm network and transaction details before signing. At the destination, Treat unexpected tokens and unfamiliar approvals cautiously and verify contracts before interacting.
Never use a seed phrase or private key to complete a bridge. A legitimate bridge flow should not require either.

Use the Live Bridge Tool

When a live route is available, open Dust Sweeper and review the current quote immediately before signing. Route availability, liquidity and network conditions can change.
